They teach you the technical side of Film and Digital Media, as well as the creative tools you need to go on to write, make and distribute your own films. These Taster courses courses are suitable for complete beginners in digital video, and animation. They are run at an easy pace and require no prior skills, other than basic computer skills.
(All Level 2 courses are also suitable for beginners but often have additional entry requirements – see course details).

Learn how to make a film from start to finish.
Suitable as follow on courses from Level 1 tasters or can be taken as first courses. They tend to be longer and are aimed at those with no previous experience of filmmaking. Basic computer skills are required. The pace is more demanding than the Level 1 courses, and students may be required to do preparation work outside of classes. The tutor will be very supportive throughout.
