Get ready! Our new project Lights Camera Oxford is rolling out a year of free arts and filmmaking activities for all ages- ending with exciting exhibitions and screenings in partnership with the Ultimate Picture Palace and the Museum of Oxford.

The Lights Camera Oxford project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and supported by Oxford City Councils Big Ideas grant – aimed at reducing inequalities in the city.

‘THE LOST ART OF ANALOGUE‘ – FREE FILM COURSE
Learn camera, sound and editing to create a documentary film to explore how films were made in the pre-digital era.
This is a free Intergenerational project for those aged 16-25 and the over 50’s.
Course Dates: Every Tuesday & Thursday starting 9th June 2026 (9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, & 30th) Times: 10am-3.30pm

DOCUMENTARY FILM COURSE 17th September – Every Thursday for 7 weeks 10-4pm (not including Oct half term.
Learn camera, sound and editing to create a documentary film to capture the memories of Oxford’s cinema goers and workers.
This is a free Intergenerational project open to those who are not in full-time education or employment aged 16-25 and over 50’s.
