Get ready! Our new project Lights Camera Oxford is rolling out a year of free arts and filmmaking activities for all ages- ending with exciting exhibitions and screenings in partnership with the Ultimate Picture Palace and the Museum of Oxford.

The Lights Camera Oxford project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and supported by Oxford City Councils Big Ideas grant – aimed at reducing inequalities in the city.

OXFORD’S CINEMA STORY– FREE DOCUMENTARY FILM COURSE Learn camera, sound and editing to create a short film capturing the memories of Oxford’s cinema goers and workers.
Dates (7 sessions 10am-3.30pm) : Thurs 17th, Tues 22nd, Thurs 24th September One-week break then: Tues 6th, Thurs 8th, Tues 13th & Thurs 15th October 2026
This is a free Intergenerational project for aged 16-25 and over 50’s – not in full-time education or employment. Workshops held at Film Oxford. East Oxford Community Centre, Princes Street Oxford
