Rachel Millward, founding Director of ‘Birds Eye View’

Film is the most powerful medium of our time, but only 7% of directors are women.
Birds Eye View brings you the new generation of talented women filmmakers from across the globe.

Rachel Millward is the founding director of Birds Eye View – a platform for women film makers which launched the UK’s first major women’s film festival in London in 2005.

Through their London-based festival and touring programmes, Birds Eye View entertain audiences with innovative shorts, features and documentaries as well as providing educational programmes that inspire the next generation to bring a fresh and exciting future to our screens.

Rachel will be screening some short films by emerging women directors from around the world and discuss the importance and progress of women filmmakers today.

Doors open 7.30pm. Free entry.
