Local filmmaker goes to BAFTA

Thanks to your vote, Joe Kennard, an East Oxford filmmaker, has won the regional nomination for the BAFTA  Orange – 60 seconds Of Fame competition. His film, Celebrate Life will be screened at the BAFTA ceremony this Sunday 11th February in London.

The competition brief was to create a sixty second piece around the theme celebrate. The film takes the form of a message from an old man to his grandson, inspired in part by a friend having a baby late last year. What would you want to tell your grandchild before you died?
