Are you a freelance filmmaker or digital creative interested in part-time teaching?
Film Oxford is a long-established charity providing filmmaking and digital media community learning courses. Our unique selling point has always been that our courses are led by working filmmakers and creatives rather than professional teachers. In a challenging year, we have successfully piloted new online courses covering a range of topics including documentary filmmaking, screenwriting, broadcast journalism, VJing, and editing with DaVinci Resolve.
We are now seeking to expand our pool of freelancers who may be interested in teaching.
This could be in any area of film or digital media education, from beginners’ level to intermediate. For example: producing, camera work, storyboarding, directing, editing, graphic or web design, motion graphics, animation, digital marketing or social media.
At this stage we are looking for expressions of interest only. Please send us your CV which should include your specialist areas, weblinks to your work and why you are interested in part-time teaching. We are initially looking for people local to Oxfordshire but would consider people further afield, and we are especially keen to hear from people from the global majority, disabled people and those of marginalised genders.
Email your CV or any questions to office@filmoxford.org and we will be in touch in the New Year.
