ADOBE GROUP MEETING November 21st 2013
Photographer’s choice and Video update
Our November meeting is a mix of still and moving images. We shall be holding the raffle postponed from the October meeting – a chance for everyone present on the night to win one-year’s free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. Bring along a business card to put into the draw (we shall also have a supply of blanks just in case!).
Video update
Adobe has announced that it will be shipping a new release of Premiere Pro and After Effects in November. Richard Duriez will demonstrate the new release of Premiere Pro and Dariusz Dziala will show the new capabilities of After Effects.
Photographer’s choice
A frequently asked question in photographic circles is “when should I use Lightroom, Bridge and Photoshop?” Glenn Clarkson will talk through different workflows for the three tools and demonstrate what each application is best used for.
Video update
Adobe has announced that it will be shipping a new release of Premiere Pro and After Effects in November. Richard Duriez will demonstrate the new October release of Premiere Pro and Dariusz Dziala will show the new capabilities of After Effects, including upscaling from archive formats to HD and 4K
As well as giving away 1 years subscription to creative cloud in a raffle, to those that attend, we are also giving another subscription away in a competition!
Competition
We are looking for people to send in ideas 10-30 minute illustrated talks that they would like to run in the new year! Or if you can’t offer to do a talk (newbies) you can also suggest one you’d like to hear!
Details of what we are after – We are looking for activities and presentations for the Adobe Premiere & Post Group for later this year. We are open to most suggestions so long as it involves moving image (your talk may have an adobe connection in some way, like you used premiere, after effects, encore, photoshop etc during postproduction, but if it doesn’t and it is a good idea we will run it anyway). Send to Richard ( by 18th November deadline) – office@filmoxford.org
Held at Film Oxford, 54 Catherine Street, Oxford, OX4 3AH
