Talent Circle Super Shorts Film Festival – Nov 9th @ OFVM

Talent Circle: Major UK short film festival once again visits Oxford.

Talent Circle Super Shorts is the UK’s only major film festival for films no longer than 5 minutes. The latest Super Shorts film festival is touring the UK  and will be heading for OFVM with 70 minutes worth of films from the festival. Film industry talent and the general public alike are welcome to the event.

Admission free – Thursday 9th November 2006

Doors open 7.30pm – films start 8.00pm

Screening followed by network and drinks. Come along and see some of the sharpest shorts in the UK

FOURDOCS FACTUAL FILM AWARD

Geocaching: From the Web to the Woods Dir: Jeff Orlowski
Scavenger hunting and GPS technology combine to create Geocaching.
This film explores a new hobby through the eyes of three avid
geocachers.
 
The Glass Eye Maker Dir: Tomas Leech
A film about the last glass eye maker in the UK.
 
The Tardis (WINNER) Dir: Nadeem and Bamforth
Based around an underground location in London known as "The
Tardis", this mini-docu follows the lives of three young Asians "who
break the mould."

AVID INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Coffee Break Dir: Larry Ziegelman
Two old high school classmates discover they work together on their
coffee break.
 
Dear, Sweet Emma (WINNER) Dir: Loraine Cernak
Unbeknownst to all, Emma has an uncontrollable dark side.
 
Hotel Hopscotch Dir: Geoff Cordner
With self-effacing honesty and raw humour, moments in street life and
