Animation Summer Workshops – NOW FULL

Dated: June 19, 2012

 MOVE IT!NOW FULL

Go wild in a changing world of animation!

There’s a whole lot more to Stop Motion Animation than just plasticine! Over this three day workshop you will get your hands dirty with real art material (plasticine too!!) exploring shapes, light, movement and sound to create your own magical worlds – limited only by your imagination!!!

Working in small teams you will create an original animated film with established local film artist Iona Fabian. Iona has been teaching animation for 15 years, and has worked extensively around the south giving young people the confidence to go wild with their imagination and create something truly different.

Over 3 days participants will develop skills in planning, scheduling, lighting, modelling, drawing, animating, sound recording, sound mixing and editing. You will be working in small groups using PC’s and MAC’s and high definition cameras at the Film Oxford Studios in Catherine Street.

All abilities welcome, no previous experience necessary.
