Ignition Random Acts Network Centre
The Ignition Network announces a 3 year Short Film programme for young people aged 16-24, funded by the Arts Council partnership with Channel 4’s Random Acts series.

Random Acts short film brief is for ‘bold, innovative expressions of creativity’ across a range of art-forms. The Ignition Network Random Acts Centre is looking for young people who have strong creative ideas, for short films between 90seconds and 3 minutes. Applicants will need to have a passion to share their creative vision and a dedication to their craft with the drive to create and deliver their film production to broadcast standard. Budgets will be between £2000 and £4000.
The film production strands will provide opportunities for young filmmakers to work on their own projects and also work with cultural, digital film and education partners to deliver film projects with their support.
Ignition Network Random Acts Commissions are divided into 3 Strands:
Flare Shorts 1st Call – 8 films Deadline – 4th June 2015
Aimed at young people who have great ideas and a ready to go vision for their film
Fuse Shorts 2nd Call – 8 Films Deadline – 4th June 2015
For organisations who are running creative workshop programmes for talented young people
Spark Shorts 3rd Call – 8 films Deadline – 5th October 2015
For young artists and filmmakers who show real talent but need more support or time.
