OPEN SCREEN
Oxford’s ‘Open Mic’ Film Networking Night – 1st Thursday of month at 7.30pm
Open Screen (formerly ‘10:10’) is a friendly networking group that meets on the first Thursday of the month, to watch and discuss short films. It runs from 7.30pm-9.30pm at Film Oxford, Catherine St.
Show your film and get crucial feedback
If you have taken a Film Oxford course or working independently, Open Screen is a great way to maintain contact and to meet other people who also want to make films. It’s open to all filmmakers of any level from novice to professional wanting to watch or show and discuss your work. It can be drama, documentary, finished or unfinished.
Watch films, network and be inspired
Come along and meet other like-minded people and expand your love of filmmaking, get feedback on work in progress or find new ideas for your future film projects. You can just turn up but please let us know in advance if you want to show films, (as this works on a first come first shown basis due to numbers of films shown).
If you have any clips (up to 10 mins) you want to show bring them along on a disc, usb stick/hard drive or a link to your video on the internet. Please email Zoe to let us know you are coming zoe@urchin.info
Entrance is FREE but bring along some beer or crisps to share.
You can show from disc, files (on a usb stick) or via internet (youtube or vimeo)
Entrance is free but bring along some beer or crisps to share.
