Open Screen is a friendly networking group that meets on the second Thursday of the month to watch and discuss short films.

Next Open Screen:

Thursday 10th March  7.30pm – 9.30pm Free Event!

This month we are having a Women’s Film Night where films about women or made by women will be screened. All are welcome to come to the event. It is our way of celebrating women as part of International Women’s Week.

During the first half we will be showing the film(s) about a declutterer, made on the Film Oxford Production Course which will finish on the 10th of March, a short film about the #Heathrow13 and others shorts which are booked in.

Email zoe@urchin.info if you have films to screen for this event or future Open Screen evenings.

‘Seeds of Hope’  a twenty minute film about a group of women who disarmed a Hawk airplane,  will be screened during the second half.  Andrea Needham, one of the women involved in the action, will come along to answer questions and talk about her book, ‘The Hammer Blow’ launched this month. The film makers will also be there.

The event is FREE but please bring some food or drink to share.

Please note that Open Screen has now moved to the 2nd Thursday each month.
