Every summer Film Oxford run FREE outdoor screening events ‘Under the Stars’ in some of Oxford’s most beautiful parks. This is an opportunity for local communities to come together and enjoy a current popular feature supported by short films made by local filmmakers. Over the last 15 years these have been funded by local grants and this summer (2019) we have secured funding from the National Lottery ‘Awards for All’ for 6 key events. The dates and venues are:
1st June (Sat) – Bury Knowle Park – Headington Festival. Incredibles 2 + Black Panther
20th July (Sat) – Rose Hill Community Centre. The Lego Movie 2 (U). Time: 9.00pm – 11.00pm
27th July (Sat)- Florence Park. COCO (U) Time: 8.45pm – 10.45pm
3rd August (Sat) – Cutteslowe Park. (by the Garden Centre). Hotel Transylvania 3. Summer Vacation.(U) Time: 8.30pm – 10.30pm
17th August (Sat) – Sunnymead Park. (Ouside the Cutteslowe Community Centre. Wren Road). The Lego Movie 2 (U) Time: 8.15pm – 10.15pm
31st Aug (Sat) – Rose Hill Community Centre. Incredibles 2 (PG). Time: 8.00pm – 10.20pm
7th Sept (Sat) – Florence Park. Mary Poppins (U). Time: 8.00pm – 10.20pm
