We would welcome more film-makers who would like to capture the Cowley Road Carnival on film. We are aiming for short films which we can use on the internet to show the Carnival highlights, the people and performers that make the event so special. The Carnival itself is on from noon until 5 pm with the procession on from 1.30 pm from the Plain. But we would like to film more than that, including set up and preparations which start from 6 am with the beach being set up at the Car Park behind Tesco.
We have a briefing meeting on Tuesday evening if anyone can come at The Cape of Good Hope if volunteers can come. But to get in touch with Katie at volunteers@cowleyroadworks.org in the first instance. (You will need your own equipment)
