Open Screen – The “Open Mic” Film Networking Night!
Thursday 4th September 2014 7.30pm – 9.30pm
OPEN SCREEN – The “Open Mic” Film Networking Night, is a friendly networking group that meets on the first Thursday of the month, to watch and discuss short films (was called 10:10).
It’s the perfect opportunity for filmmakers in Oxford to get together to view new work made by local filmmakers. We also be have presentations and demonstrations. If you have taken a Film Oxford course or working independently, it’s a great way to maintain contact and to meet other people who also want to make films.
OPEN SCREEN Networking Night (10:10) is open to all working with moving image – novice or professional, drama or documentary, campaigning or digital artists.
Bring along films to screen, equipment for us to swoon over, questions to ask, or come and watch some great locally made short films.
Free but bring some beers and crisps to share
If you’ve got any clips to show and discuss (coursework, finished films or work in progress you want feedback on) and/or have equipment or techy skills to share, you can just turn up but please let Zoe know you are coming zoe@urchin.info
You can show from disc, files (on a usb stick) or via internet (youtube or vimeo)
